Visitors from the Institute for Education Innovation toured G.W. Carver High School today! They were introduced to our Career Academies and Empower Academy, the district’s newcomers program and were treated to a performance from our internationally-recognized choir performed.
🔬🐄 Yesterday, our freshmen had an incredible college-level science lab experience dissecting a cow’s eye!

The Carver boys soccer team did not have to travel far to talk about the upcoming season, with their school serving as the host site for day two of Birmingham Metro Soccer Media Days. The Rams have their sights set on repeating as BCS Champions! #SuccessStartsHere
G.W. Carver High School is the first Birmingham City school to host the Birmingham Metro Soccer Media Days, with teams across the area participating. The Carver Lady Rams were among the first teams interviewed this morning, with fellow BCS girls teams Huffman, Wenonah, and Jackson-Olin girls to follow this afternoon and Carver and Huffman boys teams arriving tomorrow. #SuccessStartsHere
