Today, Yadira Canon Aguilar, Zy'Coryous Abrams, Vincent Christon, and Jayda Gaines competed in the Birmingham City Schools Social Justice Fair, tackling real-world issues with a powerful research presentation!
🎤Vincent Christon presented the group's project on "Food Insecurity," exploring how food deserts impact both mental and physical health. He not only highlighted the problem but also shared viable solutions, including the Academy of Engineering’s proposed Aquaponics System! 🌱💧
As a powerful addition, Vincent wrote and performed an original poem about food insecurity, making a lasting impact.
