G.W. Carver High School officially introduced Keon Handley as the new head football coach for the Carver Rams today.

During a press conference held today, Coach Handley to formally addressed the media, students, alumni, and community members as he begins this new chapter leading the Carver High School football program.

Coach Handley brings leadership, experience, and a strong commitment to student-athlete development. The sixth coach in the program’s history, Coach Handley served as the Rams’ offensive coordinator in 2025. A graduate of Miles College, Coach Handley compiled a record of 29–54 and earned four postseason berths over eight seasons as a head coach at Selma, Fairfield, and Fultondale high schools.
