Next week, South Hampton K-8 School's Storm Sentinels team departs for Washington, D.C. for the final presentations of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition.
The school held a parade today to celebrate the scholars' success so far and give them some encouragement for their trip.
During a post-parade reception, District 60 State Representative Juandalynn Givan presented a check for $20,000 to the school!
The team also delivered a practice presentation for the guests, including board members, district leaders, parents, and community members.
