The G.W. Carver student body recently elected Carlos Jimenez as President of the Student Government Association (SGA).

He is the first Mexican-American to hold the office at a Birmingham City Schools high school!

Now stepping into the role, Jimenez is focused on making sure students feel that their voices are heard, a key theme of his campaign.
