In commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the Freedom Rides, John Herbert Phillips Academy, in collaboration with the Birmingham City Schools Fine Arts Department, hosted the We Shall Someday Project—a powerful blend of history, performance, and student engagement.

The concert performance of the original musical, We Shall Someday, featured Broadway actors. Following the show, the artists held a discussion on-stage with living Freedom Riders and the artists.
