On Thursday, Parker and Ramsay will be competitors on the turf at Legion Field. Today, they were united in a common goal: STOP THE VIOLENCE. During the press conference for the fourth annual Stop the Violence Classic, players, coaches, and administrators from the two schools, along with district and community leaders, spoke with media about how this game is more than just a game, but a plea for peace. The fourth season of BCS Under the Lights kicks off this Thursday with the third edition of the Stop the Violence Classic featuring the Ramsay Rams and the defending 6A state champion Parker Thundering Herd!

During a press conference today, Dr. Mark Sullivan joined Mayor Randall Woodfin and Lyord Watson of the Penny Foundation to announce Ready Day One, an incentive program that will reward families whose scholars are registered before August 7 and present on the first day of school.
